Ok, I know I did a complete 180, and these are not some of my best photos, but I want to tell ya'll about an opportunity for your child to meet the REAL Santa!!!
Every year, my sister and brother-in-law (mostly my brother-in-law) set up their house exactly like you see in the photos. It takes about 1 1/2 months, and he adds a few 1000 lights each year!
If you could see the sign that Santa is holding (above), you'd know that
EVERY Saturday starting at 6pm, Santa comes (realistic, white beard and all) to their house and sits and waits for children to climb up on his lap. It is so wonderful, and they get candy canes before they leave:)
If you live near or around Raleigh, if you're visiting Raleigh on a Saturday, if you have kids or not, you should go by and see this elaborate scene!
