Without giving TMI, Beth's husband is deployed. Beth knew I am interested in photography and asked me to take pictures to send to him. Not only is she helping me practice, I am truly honored to have this opportunity.

Tami and I went to Woodlake in Vass, NC to visit with Betsy. The area is so peaceful!

This was her parents' canoe. I love little reminders of where we come from!

A man made "waterfall"

This photograph is deeper than adorable. As he begins kindergarten, this little boy is beginning the path of life with a map. It is an indication that though there is a long road ahead of him, he will be successful!

Nick's Creek Greenway

This was actually in Hillcrest park. The open gate isn't quite inviting, but it does spark curiosity! The grave markers indicate the deceased were born in the 19th century.

Though the main object is in the center, the bunch in the top left corner may reflect the 1/3 rule...

Golfing With The Boys

Billy informed me that this is the hole the groom's cake was modeled after at our rehearsal dinner. Amy K. did an awesome job!

I caught a lot of flack for this picture! I took it right before he hit it and I thought he was still lining up the shot. It was worth it; it turned out great!

It think the guys were noticing/making fun of a dog wearing a bandanna. I personally thought it was adorable, but then, Gigi does have several sweaters!

I learned to take my shots after they took theirs! I wish I hadn't cut off his feet!

These cattails were so neat and yes, I almost fell into the pond!

Walking the course is a lot better for you than driving a cart.
